The pillow uses high-density memory foam which gives a medium-firm feel — it compresses slowly under the weight of your head and returns to shape. The loft (height when uncompressed) is approximately 10–11 cm, making it well-suited for adults who prefer a supportive, slightly elevated neck position rather than a soft, sinking feel.

Packed Size & Travel Bulk
When compressed and packed, the pillow fits into its carry bag at roughly 28 × 14 × 10 cm. It is not a compressible roll-up pillow — memory foam does not compress to pocket size. Plan for it to take a small corner of your carry-on or attach it to the outside of a bag using its loop/strap if included.
Cooling Expectations — Honest Overview
The gel-infused memory foam and knitted cover are designed to draw away initial heat faster than standard foam, giving a noticeably cooler first contact. However:
- On long flights or in warm cabins, the foam will gradually warm to body temperature — this is normal for all memory foam
- The removable knitted cover helps with airflow and can be removed mid-trip if needed
- For maximum cooling benefit, keep the pillow at cabin temperature before use (e.g. store in the overhead bin rather than on your lap)
Cover Care — Step by Step
- Unzip the cover from the foam core (full zipper around the perimeter)
- Machine wash on a gentle/delicate cycle in cold water (30°C or below)
- Do not tumble dry — lay flat or hang to air dry
- Do not iron directly on the knitted fabric
- Refit the dry cover over the foam before use
The foam core itself should not be washed. Spot clean with a lightly damp cloth if needed and allow to dry fully before covering.
Initial Odor & Airing
Like all high-density memory foam products, this pillow may have a faint foam scent when first unboxed. This is a normal characteristic of new foam and is not a defect.
- Air the pillow uncovered in a well-ventilated room for 24–48 hours before first use
- The scent typically fades fully within 2–3 days of airing
- Avoid sealing it in a bag immediately after unboxing
